“I started working on international environmental innovation projects by chance because 17 years ago a dear colleague of mine Cristina asked me to help her, then she moved to Germany and I’m still here. Working in heterogeneous teams, with transversal knowledge, different cultural heritage and inter-generational visions is for me a necessity that I can no longer give up. I developed public-private partnership schemes for urban forestry, created a prototype for the public CO2 credit market, drafted the municipality’s climate change adaptation plan and then the environmental budget, circular economy projects, crowdfunding and more yet. Activities very different from each other, but which have in common passion, collaboration, the desire to learn and always accept new challenges and a good teacher Giovanni. I really like walking in nature but also in the city, I play very badly a tenor sax given to me by my father, I love sweets, the sea and poems. I share my days with a beloved son, a fantastic daughter, a special companion and a beautiful cat. I am not afraid to act when someone tells me that what I am proposing cannot be done, but I get stuck in front of “it is not fair!”.
